- Located in the beautiful town of Certaldo, outside of Florence, the Dema complex is a multifunction facility, combining a manufacturing plant (where a number of Lipparini-designed furniture pieces are produced), office space, and wholesale showroom. Working with a preexisting facility covering approximately five acres, Lipparini creates a milieu that establishes a unified aesthetic for these diverse uses while supporting their very different logistical needs. That unity is symbolized by the fine metal grating that wraps around the entire central structure an element that, referencing the look of many local farm buildings, visually binds the complex to its marvelous Tuscan setting.
